What: The 2021 CJAB Conference "The Changing Face of Criminal Justice" will bring together criminal justice, behavioral health, and treatment partners in what promises to be a dynamic and informative two and a half-day event. We have an exciting line-up of national and local experts who will discuss the challenges impacting our criminal justice and behavioral health systems, and the collaborative solutions that have had proven success.
We are excited to feature new plenary speakers, including Dr. Joel Nuñez with his session "Shared Humanity as a Catalyst for Innovation, Integration, and Motivation" and Dr. Stanley Andrisse, a formerly incarcerated person who is now an endocrinologist scientist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, will describe his journey from prison to professor with "From Prison Cells to Ph.D". In addition, this year's conference will offer breakout sessions covering topics including trauma-informed care, self-care, evidence-based practices, technology, and much more!
Who: The conference is open to all CJAB members, criminal justice, and behavioral health practitioners with a plethora of plenary and breakout sessions with universal appeal to all criminal justice and behavioral health professionals.
Continuing Education Credits: This conference has been submitted for review and approval to provide Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) Credits, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, and National Association of Social Workers continuing education credits. We will post more information on credit availability as our applications are reviewed and approved.
Fee: There is no fee to attend.
